Your Purpose, The Process, His Promise

Kent Simpson: Your Purpose, The Process, His Promise

Your Purpose and New Identity

When our Father’s abiding Word is working within you, you have found your purpose for your life, and this purpose becomes your identity. Too many Believers today do not know where they fit in the Kingdom of God. One of the very first acts of every Christian should be to find out what God’s purpose for them is in this life. Before we can begin to please God with our works we must first find out what His purpose is for us.

If we are not of this world then we should not be so concerned about where we fit in it. This short time we have on earth is a time of testing to see if we are loyal subjects who will serve our Father or serve the ruler of this world, the prince of darkness (see Ephesians 2:2). This life is training us to be prepared to endure the lengthy boot camp God has called us into.

Our Father has a three-part purpose for giving each and every one of us a prophetic word. It gives us direction on what we are called to do for His people. The word gives purpose by revealing to us how we are to go about fulfilling the work He has placed before us. He has a purpose for imparting into us a spiritual gift from the Holy Spirit so that we will be equipped to demonstrate His power, letting all know that we are His anointed ones for the job He has purposed us to do.

When most of us begin to think about what we could possibly do for the Kingdom of God we are limited in our thoughts to just a few duties found within the local congregation. You might consider being a pastor, a or praise and worship leader, a sound and technical person, a Sunday school teacher or one of the other smaller positions.

We cannot limit God and keep Him locked in the box of the Church’s making. Our Father is much more radical than what most people may think, so do not be surprised if His word to you sounds a bit unacceptable to the religious mindset today. (Photo via enwikipedia)

One of the most quoted verses of Scripture that most of us have either heard or have been falsely corrected by is found in Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

If you read this verse a couple of times you might see that there is a condition within this verse that is very important. It seems that every time things do not work out for one of our brothers or sisters we quote this verse as to say, “It’s okay. You love God, however, you are going to make mistakes or bad things are going to happen to you that’s just the way it is.”

Well, I have found that the part that makes all the difference is found in the last few words of this verse, “…called according to His purpose.” Now if you read this verse as it is written, then you will see that it is saying that: if you are in God’s purpose and do all things according to His word (your calling, commission and gifting) good things will come to you and the evil one cannot touch you.

Most people think that if they are doing good things for people then they are fulfilling God’s purpose, but that is simply not so. I counsel people almost every day. Many of them are doing good things in the sight of the religious bunch to impress one another and hopefully God too. But their good deeds can be dead works in the eyes of God leaving them an open target for satan to mess up their lives.

Now, if they are doing what our Father has commissioned them to do then the devil cannot touch them, “…he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him” (1 John 5:18b). Or do you believe that God has no power over the devil? Let’s get real here. God created ALL things and this includes satan who has a purpose, too; remember that “he comes to steal, kill and destroy” (John 10:10).

What is your purpose and what are you called, commissioned and equipped to do for our Master and Lord Jesus Christ and His Church?

The Process, Baptism of Fire

There is a process that everyone must go through before they can receive their promise. No one likes the process and some fail the test by doubting God and His word. That is why the verse says, “For many are called, but few are chosen” (Matthew 22:14). Not everyone is able to hold on to His word through all the obstacle courses this boot camp has laid out to test their faith. To be in God’s Army you have to be fit to endure it all until you finally come to the place where all the pain and suffering just does not matter anymore.

Many make grand commitments to the Holy Spirit while standing in the midst of His Shekinah glory. It is easy to serve God when you feel as though Jesus has His hand on your shoulder. (Photo by Jennifer Page In His Presence via elijahshopper.com)

The real test comes when you are standing alone toe-to-toe with the devil and he is doing his best to get you to believe satan rather than God and beating you down with doubt and disbelief.

Remember these words when you are being tested in this manner: “He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” (John 4:4). Don’t doubt in darkness what you have committed to in the light. “Who among you fears the Lord? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the Lord and rely upon his God” (Isaiah 50:10).

Everything will be all right, for when you have passed through the process you will reap what has been promised to you.

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” Matthew 3:11b

Before David was placed upon the throne, he received a word from Prophet Samuel that he would, in fact, someday become the king (ref. 1 Samuel 16:1-13). Twenty years later that word came to pass because David kept that word in his fore thoughts; and every time he was challenged by whatever obstacles were thrown into his path he was reminded of his purpose.

During the process, David’s prophetic word was put to the test. He was challenged many times when he faced the lion in the woods. David could have died. His prophecy would not have come to pass except he was reminded of God’s word and promise. He could not die. He had power over the lion, because his word had not yet come to pass.

When David faced the bear, it was the same situation, but this time his faith was stronger because he survived the lion. When David took the five small stones to challenge the giant it was nothing, because his faith had already grown to the point where he knew the giant could not touch him. David was believing in the word of God and fulfilling the purpose in his life. (Photo via wikimedia)

Accountability for Leadership

“My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment.” James 3:1

There is greater accountability for those who are in leadership, because they are accountable to God Almighty for what they tell others to do. They are accountable for your soul. This is not a picnic or a party. The Church is not another club to join. It is becoming an entity issuing fatigues and bars and stripes. It is calling out those who will fight in this spiritual war.

Remember, what you do in this life will determine your rank and position for eternity. How you lead others in this life will determine where you are placed in His chain of command. Don’t let the devil give you an image of Heaven with you wearing a white gown sitting on a cloud strumming a harp. That is not the Kingdom of Heaven!

Those who have gone to the other side, those who died and returned, have said it is just like earth but much, much better. Sometimes we take this life far too seriously. In all reality we are too comfortable. When we begin to worship this life greater than the one to come, then our life becomes difficult to find peace or hear the Prince of Peace.

When you are called out by God and His word abides in you, you have chosen to come in agreement with His word. You have saluted and marched toward the call of God, and you cannot afford to look back. A person is not fit for the Kingdom of God if they put their hands to the plow and then look back.

“But Jesus said to him, ‘No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God.'” Luke 9:62

Don’t look to the past and lament about how things used to be. We do not serve a God of the past. He is a God of today. He is not a God who died, gave us a book, and put us in charge. God is ruling and reigning from Heaven now. (Photo via wikimedia)

Every situation and every occurrence in your life has a meaning from Heaven above. In everything that happens in your life, there is a cause and effect. When unexpected things happen to you and you do not know why, you need to seek God and find out. You have a right to know and you can find out because Jesus is alive and speaking to everyone who will follow the sound of His voice.

His Promises Will Come to Pass IF…

The promises of God are very personal and are directly connected to you doing whatever He asks you to do. The more you do for Him the more He will do for you. It is like any relationship: you must be willing to give of yourself even at the most difficult of times. The devil will try and make you believe God just wants to take your life and make you a slave. Not so.

In fact, you will find that after you have served Him awhile and proved to Him you are loyal to do whatever He asks of you, He will trust you with more and more of His power, people and resources. It is a great thing when you have finally come to the place where God starts calling you His friend. To be a friend of God is to operate in a higher covenant with Him, and you find yourself in a relationship that is full of His promises.

Over the years, I have witnessed people trying all kinds of weird methods in an attempt to force the promises written in the Bible to come to pass for their needs. I have heard many preachers saying that we can have whatever we ask just by claiming it in the name of Jesus. The Bible is not like Aladdin’s lamp. We cannot just rub it three times chanting a few verses and receive whatever you are wishing for.

To have a true friend takes a lot of effort and years of bonding. With each battle you find yourself in; you know your Friend is always right behind you backing you up. You have to want to go the distance with Jesus in order to build this type of relationship. He desires us all to be His friend; that is what He created us for. Begin building your relationship with Jesus today by asking what you can do for Him; rather than telling Him what YOU want. This is the KEY that unlocks the door to the abundant life He promised you and me.

“Then He said to them, ‘Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given.'” Mark 4:24

They Way the Mission Field Realy Is

Haven’t written because of craziness here . Frank had put me on bed rest yesterday morning. ……  my mission: to nestle myself in the Word, get up for nothing, receive my healing, and cease this huge loss of blood.
But there was a slight interruption. Like when the satellite gets hinky due to wind or rain …..”your signal has been interrupted, try again later.”  Its been a rather crazy two days.
We have had two visits. One from the nurse in Utah and she brought a big big group of people from a Long Beach church with her. They were really touched by the daily goings on here. They came to *help* feed. It was weird I didnt tell anybody they were coming and we’ve been having like 27 kids per meal but that day 60 people showed for lunch.  The group was awed by the way the Lord extended the food as was I. Then the visitors set about helping clean up and having fun meeting our kids AND PLAYING with them……..
It was good for them to see how the people just come walking up the hill because they WANT to …..they said they have not been exposed to any ministry where the pastors were neighbors to the people they minister to. One girl felt like she *was in another world far from the USA* , most of them had come prepared to speak Spanish and were  really shocked when they found out that our people didn’t speak it. That was funny and a bit humbling for them I think .

All in all it was good to make contact with new people. Theodoras faith was built when she asked Frank’s permission to offer her handmade jewelry for sale and the Americans bought all of it.  Although i did have to step in and set prices. She was too shy and when i said , *give her whatever the Lord lays on your heart…*   there was an immediate problem – i should  have known better!  They were  offering her way too little for beadwork. Truly, for a split second i felt embarrassed to be white- come on,  3 quarters for a bracelet that an idjit could tell took 3 hours to make??  I could understand if they were paying in Mexican money , the conversion rate can be confusing. But this was just being cheap.    Some people backed out when I said 2 bucks for the bracelets and 5 for the necklaces. …..but praise Jesus she ended up selling all of her goods. She told me afterwards , that she had   been praying for money for her sons backpack and school supplies & having this happen really bumped up her Faith. Its fun to witness new believers being blessed so in a form so tangible. Anyway out of the rabbit hole and back to the path……….
They stayed several hours until all of the kids trickled home. I was peopled out.
So imagine my surprise when while snuggling into my nest with some cold coco water my old amplified Friend and a desire to get that healing i hear a commotion. I arose from the bed to see what was the matter and what did i see to my irritation but four  14 passenger vans  full of easily identified bright eyed and bushy tailed short term missionary types. When the dust settled, without further adieu these hipster surfy looking young church people start to debark. They p appear to have suffered some type of *pre-mission-religious- briefing* because they immediately huddle up in a circle and speak to their higher power.      This is the middle of our daily meal and the kids that are eating outside (big crowd again today)  start to tslk amongst themselves excitedly.  I start putting on my shoes, thinking they are lost but don’t know it. I think they were supposed to go somewhere else (koreans enter my mind) but hey they are now in our yard nowpq and walking up the stone stairs. Alls fair in love and short term missionary relations.  They were from Santa Barbara. Anyway, they showed up, as I said as we were finishing feeding, things were wrapping up here… the women heading out to gather wood for the evenings fire and the kids needing to tote their water home……..but some of the children stayed and the visitors blessed the kids with some balls and games to play and that was really nice and appreciated…..but the kids were tired from the day before and generally went home pretty quickly. One funny thing happened immediately….lemme set the stage:  first there  is a Trique fellow about 21 years old who recently sold his sister (in a good way you know the traditional arranged marriages they practice) anyhow he came into all this money ($60, 000 pesos like $5, 000 dollars split between him & his 6 brothers ) but right now he’s living large and he has been drunk as a skunk for days. … me & Frank spotted  him Sunday,  running,  literally running, in 90 degree high noon sun. Upon asking him where he was headed he says to the liquor store in Cantu- but he wad running in the  wrong direction down the dirt road . So Frank suggests to him to buy beer instead of more hard stuff and drops him off back at home where he’ll be safe. So as I said the guy has been ten sheets to the wind for days but he likes Frank because he gave him a ride and my pozole must soothe his aching liver so he’s been coming to eat this week. He’s harmless really. Oh and his name is Jesus. So add to the mix this one very tall (think Debbie) tall blond woman,  a septagenarian,I think . She is like one of the leaders of this group and she immediately starts showing off her abysmally mutilated Spanish version of *Jesus loves you, brother* topped off with a hug which if she’s at least 6 ft tall and your a 4 ft tall Oaxacan man that places your head squarely between a perilously pendulous pair of sweaty breasts. SEE WHERE WE’RE HEADED HERE? Hang on, as alas there is more.
*Jesus loves you brother is said like this- *Jesus te quiere hermano.*
This Amazon woman thinks she is saying that but in fact she is saying this *Jesus YO quiero, Hermano.* which unbeknownst to her means to him…..*Jesus I WANT you brother* , now mix that with the big tittiehug and the alcohol fogging his brain and the fact that she somehow knows his name and WANTS him and is openly professing it in an alarmingly shrill voice punctuated each time by her wagging a huge blond mess of hair over his face and you can pretty well see things go downhill real fast.
Lemme put it like this. Remember when Joy Paybody insisted on laying hands upon that 80 year old naked demon filled man holding a pick axe??
Similar outcome.  Frank had to intervene. The poor little indian guy will be afraid of old blond Christian women for likely the remainder of his life. But hey just another day at the Red Pony Pacific Division.
So by now the pastor and his wife are huddled near the chicken coop in the futile effort of making their cell phone get a signal.

With little Jesus safely escorted back to the cuarteria by Theos husband …..and everyone slightly shaken up by the blond chicks bonejarring snuffles of indignation back by the vans…..it boils down to all of these strangers kind of stuck with me and Frank.
They started asking about how we came here and how we existed. The pastor I think was suspecting by now maybe he made a wrong turn somewhere on the map ,but couldn’t extricate himself gracefully so he just went with it.
I took every opportunity I had to be welcoming and to share the stories of faith that the Lord’s given us in our journey thus far in life.  They had come to teach and evangelize they thought but suddenly the Lord turned their world on end and the anointing was becoming palpable.  Its been a while since I had that feeling……like I was standing next to myself wondering gee what will i/she say next?? Like I was just listening to Jesus talk along with every body else. Maybe that’s how you feel when you get in IT, too? All I know is I started out pretty much testifying and wound up being a vessel for a type of Q&A with Jesus. So,  I’m talking to a fairly big crowd…..28 college kids, with their pastor and his wife and about 10 teenagers. at first,  just about random things and for whatever reason I said something about the new pope and Catholicism.  I shared my views on the new pope (which must be shocking according to the reactions I saw, THE pastor was turning that telltale shade between purple and green indicating to me that he now knew for SURE he should have turned left not right) but I   was just trying to make it clear that I love everybody in general. …when one guy  challenged me. SO YOU THINK CATHOLICS ARE SAVED? IS THAT WHAT YOUR SAYING? (now this was weird because I had had an almost identical conversation with a girl the day prior.) But the Lord just really spoke through me and enabled me to teach on Yahweh’s Grace and how much Jesus wants us to love each other. and did they understand,  but really get it , just how much Yahweh really loves us and how little really he wants back…I was really wound up good and preaching at this point it was really good what I recall of it. When I looked out next (like i say i was in and out ..weird but i think u get it) the same guy had big tears rolling down his face. He says,  *So  are you saying maybe my Dad is not in Hell? He died a Catholic. And and my grandma whose a Catholic can go to heaven??*
The bunch got so silent. The Pastor was pulling at his nose in a really painful fashion,  but everybody else was still. In this moment I saw this young man as Jesus does and I got to love him literally AS Jesus…
He was hurting so bad and it hurt me. I asked him if his dad believed in Jesus and did his grandma believe in Jesus ? Did they believe that He is the resurrected Son of Almighty God? Yes, but what about……this and that…I asked him the same question. Yes he said. But he was full out crying now. Then i said it, but really it was Him saying it. Yes. Your daddy is NOT IN HELL. This is not about heaven and hell. He was standing right in front of me by now. ,in front of every body else. I lifted my hand up to put it on his head,  i think I was going to pray for him and before i could touch him he flew back and I don’t know from where but Frank appeared and caught the guy before he hit the dirt. I was then instantly drunk I mean officially inebriated in the anointing and ready for more…  but then I was talking about Resurrection Life and it was something I could tell by their faces, they had absolutely never heard. The Lord really explained what He had come and died for ……then the next thing you know i was asking who in the group wanted To ask Jesus be their King? (Remember these are all church people enough to go on a mission trip so one would assume they are already sure of their position in Christ.).but  that was the question and font you know that. just short of everybody like 35 of them surged towards me!
At that point, it was, as they say, ON. I went down the line and every single one, UR, was laid out before I could make contact with them. I never touched them and the Power was so great I had to make an effort to keep MYSELF upright. We were outside under the balcony okay,  but this warm wind with an incredibly sweet smell THAT I HAVE NEVER SMELLED  just tunneled over us and hung there for a minute or two. It was supernatural. And the scene brfore me was nothing short of something you would see on tv With Benny Hinn back in the nineties. The only other time I’ve ever personally witnessed that many people melt like that,  was in the prison here. They were like butter in a microwave. Wild pretty much sums it up.
Eventually, people started helping each other up . Some just sat in the dirt and wept. A couple of guys walked over by the chicken coop and layed down. Others just wandered about with no apparent destination.  Me and Frank went upstairs and sat on the balcony. Suddenly i was tired. Exhilarated but tired. I guess an hour passed before their pastor got them all rounded up again and told them it was time to go. He did the parting circular Calvary Chapel prayer,  and just like that they were gone .
Yahweh is good. That’s the bottom line. Hope you are equally as amazed as I.  I for one remain glad I signed on for the duration……..
Love yall,
d.d

Testimony of Water Baptism

I have written this letter now 10 times it keeps disappearing. So I
assume it is important to someone…
Now I dont even recall how it started except that  it related to
water baptism.
The year I was water baptized  I was 13/14  years old. I was going
thru a really bad time in my life. My parents had announced their
divorce at Valentine’s Day.  By Easter I had a new ‘mama” by 4th of
July  , I had a newer one. I also had been introduced to the first of
a few new “dads.”
By the time in June, when I stepped foot on that plane in San
Francisco I was  pretty much suicidally depressed. I had been flying
for  many many years every summer alone. That one trip, the American
Airlines Stew sat with me on take -off and on seeing , what I guess
was my despair, she took off her own silver stewardess wings and
pinned them on me. She my silent tears and told me the LORD KNEW me
and was going to help me…………I still have those silver wings
with me in Mexico.
When I arrived at Memphis International, my grandmother and granddaddy
on my mom’s side picked me up. I felt loved but still very lost.
What I recall most of that fateful summer was that every day that
there was a Meeting of the Church,Uncle Richard and Aunt Pamela came
to get me.  Even then, I knew it was a sacrifice for them to spend on
gas to get me to church. I remember lil Eowyn standing on the back
seat of the Rambler with skinny arms wrapped around her Daddy’s neck o
ethe highway tween Tunica and and Walls and me standing too, watching
Aunt Pamela lay hands on the dashboard and ask Jesus to give us gas to
get to church meetings.
We never missed one not ever.
I had turned 14  the day before I got baptized in the Holy Ghost. I
growing up in a house where no Bibles were ALLOWED WAS LIKE THAT GUY
IN ACTS……………..:I didn’t even know ther WAS a Holy Ghost!”
But be danged if I didn’t get Him. And He never left me.
I think  partially due to the dramatic infilling I received, the next
Sunday was Water Baptism.
And I was READY! There were quite a few of us that got ready that
Sunday morning, black and white together eager to get the old
woman/man buried, and it was a turning point in my life. See I had
things that if I was to live I needed them to be  put away or I’d
never survive. I went from  a girl who’d done unmentionable  things to
a new creation . See, Jesus had already recognized that, but for  me
going under the water well it  washed ME in my own eyes. That lost
party girl who’d done so many things I fear even now to tell you   I
‘d  had an abortion……….. MURDERED an innocent
child,…………..I was so old in sin before my years….and thank
you Jesus it changed my life.
Not immediately (which that  idea messes lots of folks up) but as
time went on I was cleansed  in my own eyes. And  what folks thought
of me really no longer mattered as the Lord took me and enfolded me in
his Loving arms and loved me even more if that is possible that is
what I felt.
I encourage you not to take it  as some “ticket to heaven” that  gives
you a  right not ever to attend church again but to really understand
what you are embarking upon..Water Baptism  started the renewal of my
mind……………so I encourage you to  see it for  the NEW BIRTH
that it is, and was, for me………it’s a new start…. a public
notice that you now belong to Jesus Christ, that YOU ARE NEW, REBORN
and also and most importantly I think , as a promise to yourself to
never ever forget what our Lord Jesus did for us.

It has been a lot of doubt  and tears revealing myself, but I pray it
will touch who it supposed to touch………..

We , here in Baja Mexico , love ya’ll so much. We appreciate your
faithfulness and look forward to news of your baptisms………….

The Place of Thanksgiving

The Place of Thanksgiving

Isa 12:4  and in that day you will say, “give thanks to the LORD, call on his name. make known his deeds among the peoples; make them remember that his name is exalted.”

1Th 5:18  Thank <God> in everything <no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks>, for this is the will of God for you <who are> in Christ Jesus <the Revealer and Mediator of that will>. (Amplified)

The Word of Faith was created for bad situations.

Consider when you first used the word of faith. when you were lost and without hope you heard the good news of Jesus who while you were a sinner and without God and hope in this world your heart was moved with the hope of deliverance from your separation from God. Then you acted in faith. You confessed Him as your Lord and savior. The burden of your sin was lifted and the reality of your salvation was made manifest. Your life changed. You got a fresh start as a new creation. Old things past away a new life unfolded. You were so grateful to God for saving you.

Now it may have been years or for that matter days since your heart was filed with the sweet joy of your salvation. The enemy has come, the cares of this life didn’t go away. You don’t know why or what to do.

i would encourage  you right now to stop and think about Five things you are thankful for. Focus on what you have or are. Five things. What you focus on you will have more of. Jesus said if your eye in single (focused) you will be filled with light. Light illuminates the darkness . the darkness you are in right now. You don’t know what to do in darkness . You don’t know the wayout.

Be thankful right now. It will lift your heart from darkness . The Holy Spirit that dwells in you with show you what to do. He will give you a word of faith to speak and to act on . That word will deliver you if you hold fast to it.

The entrance of His Word give light. Man does not live by food alone but by every word that is proceeding from the mouth of God.

Follow that light and it will lead you out of the pit you are in.

Five things. Think, lift your eyes to the thing He has done for you. Write down the thoughts ,ideas that come then do them, say them. It will release His Grace (His power to do what you can’t). Your life will change for the better.

2Ch 20:20  they rose early in the morning and went out to the wilderness of Tekoa; and when they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “listen to me, O judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem, put your trust in the LORD your god and you will be established. put your trust in his prophets and succeed.”

Job 22:28  “you will also decree a thing, and it will be established for you; and light will shine on your ways.

Bless you this day

Baja Report

Today  we and Theodora and husband Jose and children  were driving to Walmart to get  something like Vacation Bible School stuff……….colors, posterboard,  paints . stuff like that…………………..Theo cant go alone to Walmart for they will run her off. It peeved me the looks they gave her and made me happy that she is okay and can stand up to discrimination I felt super uncomfortable  because  they  had security guards follow she and I around and kept asking what we wanted one even demanded to know if she had any money to purchase anything.. I was embarrassed not for her but for them. They are like KKK’ers who would send a  negro to the back of a bus. And the crowd around us (those waiting on line to pay would cheer them on) I have experienced discrimination with Frank in certain places, most here in his own homeland. .. but nothing as vindictive as what I was treated to today.

Anyway, on our way home (around  the new Calimax) they got a  call advising them that a sister in law  had  given birth and was being released from Seguro Social.  Just hours after a Cesarean section……………….(I have had 3. each one was WORSE for me than the one before  and my last stay after the last one  lasted me 5 days…in hospital and I couldn’t cough or laugh well for   a year. In other words I cannot imagine going home the very  very day of the surgery,  and this gal with the old style big lengthwise cut as opposed to the american “bikini cut”  was “discharged,” ie., thrown out and waiting in the dust when we arrived only  some hours (less than 12 ) after she had   her c-section, Boy are these people tough………….. they make  me feel like such a crybaby when it comes to pain.

Anyway, we arrived and recovered her her husband and  suegra and  new baby girl less than 7 hours old……………..we excitedly hustled them into the  Excursion and Frank tried to drive  her  and her baby  gently homeward. It was a blessing. They asked us to pray for a name for the baby. A girl. (No more Detros thank Yahweh I already have two poor  boy children wandering around somewhere  named after me. Enough of that.). So, if anyone gets a nudge from Holy Spirit what this  baby should be named please let us know.  The mom is a believer the dad probably would be already  or maybe is, he seems very gentle spirited but works  every day  12 hours a day……………..every day…………..we barely got to know him on  our way home, and he’s been our neighbor for like 8 years.
When we got to the Cuarteria (labor camp)  everyone was waiting, from the grandmas to the   toddlers to see the new creatura (or” creature “as babies are called in their language.)…………everyone  formed a double line as mom and mother in law and dad, marched happily into their  abode where they live with 16 other people in a 12 by 12 foot  cinder block room………………as a North American I might have called it unjust or sad at one point in my past. But Now I realize that somewhat they realize  they are not poor they are just living that way temporarily to save a bunch of cash so they can go HOME.

Their ultimate dream, they are just so willing to sacrifice for a few years and gather up enough funds to build a decent home in their tierra.
I’ll send pics of new baby. It was a priviledge and a blessing to be able to pick them up .

Yahweh in Mixteco is Nee-yoe-shee. We started  our little VBS today. They learned to write Yahweh’s NAME in Mixteco Alto. So did I.  Theodora and Jose taught  about 23 kids in their own language.  It makes a huge difference.  We had lots of fun and ate  tons of popcorn and watermelon and of course candy with chile in it.

Baja Sunrise

WE ACTUALLY HAD A GOOD ACTUAL SUNRISE MEETING. We haven’t been to one
in years, since we left  congregating with all the  guys  at the
Holiness Church, like 13 years ago???
Anyway it was .so early (duh sunrise which begins 4 something  and
maxes out around 6:10 (a and therefore it is currently contrary to be
honest physical sleep needs, but anyway, that sounds really really
stupid  when you meditate on what the Lord did for us…..)
Anyway because it was so early  people started gathering at
4am.. (still really dark, but  these guys have the types of positions
at the farm that they go in later or work less hours, like Mario’s Dad
who was  promoted to a foreman before he left, or the guy who  watches
the gate all night  or day)……………….
And that song  you sent” He’s Alive) had really touched us and  brought
up this awesome rhema word that had to do  with “HE IS ALIVE….” It
was short so the workers could get on the bus on time  but it was
great. So as Frank went round praying for people where they stood, the
men  each stepped forward and  said they wanted to thank  us  for
helping them  with food , medication, an address, whatever. Two said
they were sorry they hadn’t come before but that they had been very
thankful for the food and things that  we give their families thru
their wives of children. One guy thanked us so much for the water.
THEY  seemed happy finally to have  a moment to  be grateful, to step
foreword and  say thank you. And all the little children we see daily
saw their fathers saying thank you and in little voices  were saying
Thank You Yahweh! Thank you Yahweh……………
It was  a special sweet peaceful day altogether.
Then of course you heard about the spider attack that  made me Text
you guys for prayer THIS morning. That was truly a miracle. It hurt SO
BAD and then fFrank uncovered a nest like spot in the boxsprings and
they were tiny  little spiders. But it felt JUST like that  last bite
Received , like  a fiery  wire plunged into your flesh. really bad. WE
prayed right away and got victory no doubt but then I started feeling
numbness and chest pains and I almost  freaked out, and the fire-like
pain was still there. So I texted Pamela. And as soon as I got done
praying again the double minded crap came up and I started thing maybe
its a stroke or heart attack all this mortal fear.  And the Lord
rebuked me. He wasn’t condemning or angry but He literally  said “come
one, you need to remember all you have   made it thru and u need to
use  your faith….” and the fear melted away. And I used my faith and
HAVE NOT HAD TO SEEK OUT A DOCTOR AND FEEL 100 PERCENT GOOD. I did
however   use my  relationship with the Lord and  ask for some
prayer and it worked. and I am so grateful.

Love to you and blessings, He is indeed ALIVE.

Faith a Response to God’s Revelation.

The following is a portion of Good News For Mortal Man by James E. Leuschan

Faith a response to God’s revelation.

How are we to understand this? Think of two people just in the process of becoming genuine friends. What happens when one party takes the first risk and share something intimate?
There is an intrinsic law of relationship that says once a person reveals something of their own inner life to you, you’re no longer free to act with indifference. To do so is to reject the relationship.
God is revealed himself to us in Jesus Christ. We are no longer free to pretend we cannot know him. To be indifferent to Jesus Christ is to reject relationship with God.

It seems hard to believe, but God longs for relationship with us. He insist upon just one condition; that relationship must be with him as he really is. We’re not free to conjure up an image of him. We’re not at liberty to plan our own picture of his character, the way he works, or how he thinks about us. All this he already revealed in Jesus Christ. God is bared his heart to us in Jesus. To be indifferent damnedest to reject the heart of God, to despise the very possibility of relationship.

Real faith belongs only here, with God’s own self-disclosure in Christ. Moslems pray to the one God of heaven, yet they have no genuine relationship with God, because they misconstrue Jesus Christ. Believing in monotheism itself is not enough. We can affirm just one true God over all creation and still never contact the living and the true God. Nobody ever relates rightly to God and less from the heart they first acknowledge who He is.

Think again of a friend or idea of having a friend. As everyone knows, real relationship is impossible without trust. Any relationship we have to have some idea of the nature or the character of the other person for it to really work. Even so, with God, relationship is impossible without trust, or faith.

So if we want a relationship with God the creator faith is indispensable. Faith is the one word that best describes the created human being in a personal response of surrender and loving trust to his creator. It means we take him at his word. Since we are incapable on our own of discovering what God is like, this faith rests entirely on the creators disclosure of himself to the creative one. Whatever information God chooses to declare about himself, whatever way he chooses to relate, this must form the entire basis of the relationship.

God has told us who He is and He wants us to believe it. He disclosed himself to us in the person of Jesus. Christ revealed God to humanity. Through him all of God’s fullness is made known to us in a bodily form. Since God’s disclosure of Himself must form the basis of our relationship, faith in Christ becomes indispensable requirement.

So I face is our righteousness. Whatever meets the basic requirement of the ongoing relationship constitutes righteousness. This is by the very definition of the Old Testament word for righteousness. To be righteous is to be in right relationship, I.e. To fulfill the demands of the relationship. And faith meets the demands.

Concerning Abraham. God made himself known to him, he simply took God at his word. Abraham laid hold of God by faith when he believe what

God said to him. That was all got asked. Having done so, He had fulfilled the demands for right relationship, and was counted for him righteousness.

Like Abraham, your faith is your righteousness. You are righteous when you simply believe from the heart what God disclosed to them about himself when he bared his own heart in Jesus Christ. God revealed Himself in Jesus because he intended relationship of man. God made Jesus Lord of heaven and earth so that when I believe in Him I fulfill his only condition for right relationship.

Romans 10:8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart” — that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.”
12 ¶ For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

Baja Report

Everybody looks great. . I have had my
share of battles this past week although looking back everything has
been going so well….
We had Meeting  today…(yesterday the  Korean neighbors had a party
and gave away new Nikes. Think I’ll go next time  cause I need tennis
shoes.) Anyway we had our meeting today and ate a pot of menudo and it
was great. The women you met while here are really open to prayer and
to even pray and we had a good crowd of  7  women we knew plus 4 new
ones and  about 40 kids……
It was a blessing. We ate and then while two ladies cleaned up I
taught  again on confession and walking by what we KNOW  not what we
can see………..they are surprisingly open to the concept which is
great for them.
We gave away staples after and got the biggest blessing! We have been
invited to a  evidently prestigious wedding  in March in Colonia
Eliano Zapata, down by San Quintin. It is the joining of Theodora’s
huge family with another huge Mixtec family and is the sole reason
Theodora’s clan returned up here……to work the  fields to pay for
this big event, the purchase of Apollonia the next sister in law to
be……………………….reportedly it is costing over $22,000 US
dollars and will result in the two largest living Mixtec clans  being
joined. People are to come from everywhere, the States and Mexico and
we are the only “Espanoles” (white people basically) invited…….we
have prayed and decided we WILL be going. It is a great honor and we
are excited to see this happen………more details to come.
After eating and Meeting today we took La Suegra to town. She  paid
for the gasoline! She is starting her own business selling tamales ,
sodas and candies in the Cuarteria to raise funds for the coming
wedding.
I showed her all of my bargain spots and she was quite happy to  shop
in them………..
Its been a long but great day. The Lord is once again about Kingdom
business opening doors we could never affect……………..
Blessings to you all,

Did You Learn to Love?” – Bob Jones’ Testimony From His August 8, 1976 Death Experience

Did You Learn to Love?” – Bob Jones’ Testimony From His August 8, 1976 Death Experience

Did You Learn to Love?” – Bob Jones’ Testimony From His August 8, 1976 Death Experience

Note from Sandy Warner:

This was transcribed from a conference held in Albany Oregon, 2006. Permission was given to post this. I have inserted the Scriptural references to Bob’s comments at the bottom of his testimony. You may find the footnote (numbers) inserted into the transcription.

Word spoken by Bob Jones from a 2006 conference in Albany, Oregon – transcribed by Sandy Warner:

I was in pain on the earth and blood was shooting out of my mouth like a geyser.

And all of a sudden I wasn’t in pain anymore. This Man, the Parakleet (1) stood by my side, the Holy Spirit, we started walking. And as we walked, I saw a Man who was white light. (2) All white light was around Him, but He was the whitest of all white lights. He had His hands out. As I came into that white light, there came a feeling over me like I had never known before. I asked the Man beside me, “What is that?”

The Man (Holy Spirit) said, “It is the love of God.” I said, “It’s just so wonderful, it’s so glorious.” And He said, “That’s what it is, it’s the glory of God.” I said, “How can it be both?” It’s in John 17. The love I had with the Father, the glory I had with the Father. So that was the greatest experience I have ever had. Just enveloped in His glorious love. That’s possible down here. The glory of God is coming and it is going to be in His glorious love.

I noticed another group of people on my left side and they had like a conveyor belt underneath them. And they were wrapped up in all different kinds of things. And I looked at them and I asked this Man, “Why are they wrapped up that way?” And He said, “They were wrapped up in the earth with their gods. It’s the gods they worshipped on the earth, that followed them into death. They were on their way to Hell with their gods. I saw a man wrapped up in dollar bills. I saw a man wrapped up in his sod or grass; his yard was his god. I saw a man that had no body, he was just one big head. He was an atheist, he worshipped himself; he was his own god and going to Hell with it.

I saw all manner of things who people worshipped on the earth; who they are going to spend eternity with. Well, I worshipped the Lord and I am going to spend eternity with Him. But these others that don’t are going to spend eternity in total darkness with their god. And their gods will be their tormentors, not a hundred thousand years, but eternity.

So I looked at that line. It was so horrible, and everyone when they came there, they recognized Him. Their eyes got big, and everyone that is going to Hell has had a witness in one way or another that there is a God. And every one of them willingly denied Him. For each 2 in the line that I was in, there was 98 in the other line.

I watched the Lord speak to people that were coming there. And He asked them only one question: “Did you learn to love?” He’s not going to ask you what you did. If you learn to love you are going to do that which is right. Did you learn to love? (3) He would ask them that question and they would say, “Yes Lord,” and He would kiss them right on the lips and embrace them and the double doors of His heart would open and they would go right on in.

Some of them had a lot of angels with them and they would go on in. The angels went in because they had testimonies; they helped people do things on the earth. They have no testimony until they help you do something. You are the ones that will judge angels by their rewards for what they helped you do. (4) They are more willing to help you do something, than you are willing to submit and let them help you do it.

As I came close to the Lord, I was thinking, “I learned to love. I’m OK, I’m going home.” As I did, He held His hand up to me and said, “No I want you to go back.” I told Him, “It was too hard to get here. I don’t want to because I wasn’t doing any good there.” He said, “You are a liar, because you spoke My Words and My Words will always bring it to pass.” I said, “Well nobody was believing it and it was painful.” He said, “Yes, and you have a cowardly nature too. [Up there, it’s the truth.] (5) But you love. You had a heart for souls. I want you to go back. If you look at that line over there and then tell me you want to come in, I will bring you in.”

I looked at that line and looked at their faces and said I would go back for one. I would go back and spend a day on a cross for one. He said, “I’m not sending you back for that. I’m sending you back to wake up the Church because I am going to bring a billion youth to Myself. In one of the greatest waves of all times. I’m going to honor Myself beyond anything that man can imagine. I want you to go back and touch the Church and speak to the Church of what I am going to do in these last days.” So I told Him I would come back.

I came back. I thought that when I come back into my body I would be healed. As I came back I saw 2 of the biggest angels I have ever seen. I know who they are. They are the resurrection angels. (6) And I saw the death spirit and he left when I came back in. And when I went back into the body I wasn’t healed. The pain was there and I couldn’t understand why. And I was gone probably for about 3 hours. The pain was there and I said, “What’s going on Lord?” And then I heard a phone ring. And I saw people answering the phone and they were saying, “Bob Jones needs prayer.” And they would start praying and I felt better. And it was a Friday.

People kept praying and it kept increasing and increasing. And then people came over and prayed for me Friday night ’till the pain wasn’t hardly there. And then Friday night, Saturday morning at three o’clock the last person quit praying for me. I could see who was praying for me. The pain was coming back and I thought, “Boy it’s going to be a long time.” And then I saw an old sister who wasn’t thought highly of in the church because she didn’t take too many baths. She always sat in the last seat in back. And she cleaned offices for a living. She got up early in the morning and cleaned offices. And her phone rang and she answered it. She got up at three o’clock in the morning and started praying for me and I went to sleep. And then she had to go to work at five, and others began to pray for me, so Saturday was pretty good. It went pretty well. People came over Saturday and I thought, “Well I know He sent me back down here to live.” And prayer and intercession sure made the difference.

And Saturday night it went on pretty good until about three o’clock and all the other prayer ended. Except hers. She got up and went to praying for me again. She prayed for me until about seven o’clock. She didn’t have to work on a Sunday. At seven o’clock was the worst time that I saw because there was no prayer. People were going to church.

And it was really bad until about 10:05. At ten o’clock, Viola asked me, “How are you doing?” I told her I was worse than I had ever been and I was swelling so bad I couldn’t even get out of bed. At 10:05 I became totally normal, totally delivered. I got up and we went to church and I testified of it.

I found out the value of prayer. (7) And I found out the value of not having an opinion about saints. (8) I found out the value of ministry. (9) That one saint was able to void all of it to where I could sleep.

(2) John 8:12 NKJV – JESUS IS THE LIGHT
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

(3) 1 John 4:7-12 NKJV – IF YOU DO NOT LOVE YOU DO NOT KNOW GOD
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.

(4) 1 Cor 6:2 -3 NKJV – JUDGING THE ANGELS
Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

(5) John 14:6 NKJV – ONLY THE TRUTH IS SPOKEN IN HEAVEN
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 17:17-19 NKJV
Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

(6) Luke 24:3-6 NKJV – RESURRECTION ANGELS
Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen!”

(7) James 5:13-15 NKJV – PRAY
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing psalms. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.

1 Thess 5:16-18 NKJV
Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

2 Thess 3:1 NKJV
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you,

1 Tim 2:8 NKJV
I desire therefore that the men pray everywhere,

(8) Mark 12:42-44 NKJV – OPINIONS OF PEOPLE
Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. 43 So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; 44 for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”

(9) 2 Cor 1:3-5 NKJV – MINISTRY OF COMFORT
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds through Christ.
