The One He Loves

Faith Works by Love

Faith is motivated by love

John 11:1 ¶ Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.

3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”

4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.”

5 Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.

1) to be operative, be at work, put forth power

1a) to work for one, aid one

2) to effect

3) to display one’s activity, show one’s self operative

Romans 8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

17 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

18 “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Lord, the one you love is sick.”

Just because you face trouble in your life whether it be sickness , finacial lack, broken relationships or persecution does not mean that your Heavenly Father does not love you, Lazarus was sick even to the point of death but Jesus loved Lazarus. Children of a world full of rejection we in our immaturity equate trouble with punishment from God.

There is a major misunderstanding about the reality of our situation that causes us not to see things as they are. If we can not see we can not avail ourselves of the provision that the Father has given us. The apostle Peter make the statement that God has provided through His promises everything we need that pertains to life and to Godliness that we may escape the corruption that we face in this world.

2 Peter 1: 2 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord,

3 as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,

4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

God is not in control you are.

Genesis 1:26 ¶ Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

You see in original creation Mankind both male and female were given control over God’s earth His creation. Man was given stewardship and was placed in a position of authority over all the earth. When Adam submitted himself to the swerpent he gave the power of attorney to the enemy.

Romans 6:16 Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?

When Adam chose to obey the serpent who was a created being he became a slave to creation and the devil. The Creator redeemed us through Christ from this situation but He did not alter His original plan of Mankind having the authority in the earth. Jesus is called the Last Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life–giving spirit.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

Jesus as the last Adam representing us gained back the authority that the First Adam lost.

Rom 5 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.

15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

1 John 4:17 ¶ Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

God’s love has done this for us. That in His eyes in this earth we are like Jesus. Jesus redeemed us back unto god the Fahter and restored our original place in God’s plan. Thus we see that we are now to respond to God’s Grace and His gift of Rightstanding with Him to rule and reign in this life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Psalm 8 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?

5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet,

Heb 2: 6 But one testified in a certain place, saying: “What is man that You are mindful of him, Or the son of man that You take care of him?

7 You have made him a little lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And set him over the works of Your hands.

8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

10 ¶ For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

11 For both He who sanctifies and those who are being sanctified are all of one, for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren,

12 saying: “I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will sing praise to You.”

13 And again: “I will put My trust in Him.” And again: “Here am I and the children whom God has given Me.”

14 ¶ Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,

15 and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

16 For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the seed of Abraham.

Genesis 1:26 ¶ Then God ( elohiym) said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.

Mankind was made a rank below the Creator not Angels. Angels are indeed to be subjected to us. Satan is an angel

1 Corinthians 6:3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

Heb 1:13 3 But to which of the angels has He ever said: “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”?

14 Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?

Psalms 82:6 ¶ I said, “You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High.

John 10:34 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”’?

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,

Romans 8:21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Romans 9:8 That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Man made religion has reduced mankind to a helpless hopeless position. It strips us of our rights and privledges as well as our responsibilities in this life. We must own our responsibilities. We has been delegated the authority on this planet. We have rights and privileges that come from our Father but we must take the action of faith to receive them taking dominion in His Name over the enemy of life.

Psalms 34:19 The righteous person faces many troubles,

but the LORD comes to the rescue each time.

Psalms 34:19 A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all;

Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD delivers him out of them all.

Redeemer 01350 lag ga’al gaw-al’ Yahweh Gaw-al

Job 19:25 I know that my Redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.

Psalms 19:14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Rom 8: 26 ¶ In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

27 And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

29 ¶ For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

31 ¶ What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?

32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies.

34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

36 As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,

39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Trouble in our love is an opportunity for Our Redeemer God to be invited to get involved in our lives and to allow Him to show Himself strong in our behalf bring a further demonstration of His Goodness and His Love for us

1 Thessalonians 5:18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Thank <God> in everything <no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks>, for this is the will of God for you <who are> in Christ Jesus <the Revealer and Mediator of that will>.
